Shared Education Christmas Craft Collaboration
On Monday 20th October, our Primary 6 and 7 pupils took part in a Shared Education Art and Craft Activity in The GLM Hall, alongside Primary 7 pupils from Mountnorris Primary School. This creative collaboration is part of our ongoing Shared Education Programme, which promotes friendship, teamwork and community spirit.
During the session, the children worked together to plan, design, and create a variety of festive Christmas crafts in preparation for the upcoming Vintage Christmas Craft Fair at Mountnorris GLM Hall on Saturday 22nd November 2025. The fair will raise funds for local charities and in a lovely act of kindness, our pupils have chosen to donate their handmade crafts to support this meaningful cause.
As part of this special event, the children also enjoyed pancakes and juice, followed by time spent playing together in the local park—a wonderful way to build friendships and celebrate the joy of the season.
Mrs McCourt and Mr Foster are incredibly proud of the pupils’ enthusiasm, creativity and generosity and would like to extend sincere thanks to Mr Michael McElroy, who kindly provided the resources and facilitated the activity.
Today’s experience not only celebrated the approaching festive season but also reflected the values of compassion, collaboration and community that lie at the heart of our Shared Education journey.
