St. Teresa’s Primary School Council 2025-2026
St. Teresa’s Primary School Council
At St. Teresa’s Primary School, our School Council is a group of children who represent the views of all pupils. It gives our children the opportunity to have their voices heard and to be part of the whole school community.
The council helps to make decisions about school life and organises projects that support learning and development — such as charity events, theme days, and representing the school at outside events.
Who Are the School Council Representatives?
Each year, a new School Council is elected. The council is made up of eight representatives who complete an application form and present a speech at a whole-school assembly, outlining their qualities and ideas for improving our school community.
To make the election process exciting and realistic, we set up a school polling station where pupils could cast their votes. Our election day took place on Friday, 10th October, and the results were announced on Monday, 13th October.
The 2025 School Council representatives are:
-
Primary 4: PJ
-
Primary 5: Grainne and Alfie
-
Primary 6: Frank and Harley
-
Primary 7: Aoife-Rose, Mollie, and Eva
We’re so proud of all the pupils who took part in this year’s elections and shared their fantastic ideas. Congratulations to our new School Council — we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things you’ll achieve this year!
