Celebrating Creativity and Faith: Jubilee Year of Hope Recognition
We were delighted to welcome Mary Hampsey, Diocesan Advisor, to St. Teresa’s Primary School, where she spent time with our pupils and staff, experiencing first-hand the warm, caring and faith-filled environment that makes our school so special.
A highlight of the visit was the presentation of the Armagh Diocesan Jubilee Year of Hope booklet, a beautiful collection of prayers and artwork created by primary school pupils from across the diocese.
A special congratulations goes to our talented pupil, Ursula, whose stunning Year of Hope stained glass window design was selected for publication in the booklet. Ursula’s work reflects both her creativity and her deep understanding of the theme of hope and we are incredibly proud of her achievement.
We were also thrilled to celebrate the success of two of our past pupils, Jake and Niall, now in Year 8 at St. Paul’s High School. Their thoughtful and inspiring Year of Hope prayer was also chosen for inclusion in the booklet. Niall and Jake were also given their own copies of this very special publication — a well-deserved recognition of their faith and writing talents.
This wonderful achievement highlights the continued success of our pupils, past and present, in expressing their faith through art and prayer. We extend our sincere congratulations to Ursula, Jake and Niall on this fantastic accomplishment.
