We are incredibly proud of our pupils who represented St. Teresa’s Primary School, Tullyherron in the South Armagh Cumann na mBunscol Schools’ Quiz 2026.
This highly competitive quiz took place on Thursday 29th January in the Silverbridge Resource Centre, with 20 schools from across South Armagh taking part. The competition challenged pupils to answer a wide range of questions covering Irish History, Irish Geography, Irish Sports and Personalities, along with a variety of general trivia questions.
St. Teresa’s was represented by two teams, who prepared extremely well for the event. Their excellent teamwork, knowledge and enthusiasm were clearly evident throughout the competition.
Both teams performed superbly against strong opposition and most importantly, thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We would like to congratulate St. Patrick’s, Cullyhanna and St. Patrick’s, Crossmaglen who won the competition and go forward to the next round and acknowledge all the other schools who took part in this competition.
A special thank you to members of Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhacha, Mr Parick Mc Coy and Mrs Collette Hicks for organising the competition and to Cumann na mBunscol Ard Mhacha for providing our primary school pupils with such fantastic opportunities.
