Primary 6 and 7 Microsoft Coding Workshop
The Primary 6 and 7 pupils really enjoyed the Microsoft Coding Workshop on Monday 28th April facilitated and delivered by Mr Trevor Cunningham (Microsoft Engineer) and his two children, Oísín and Eiméar.
The pupils very much benefited from the workshop by further developing their ICT and Coding skills using the Microsoft “Shark Splash” App.
The pupils planned and designed a Microsoft Coding Video Game using block coding, they examined computer science concepts, such as, events, sprites and conditionals and the children used their creativity by customising their own video computer game!
Mr Cunningham presented all the pupils with certificates for successfully completing their Microsoft Video Computer Games, Congratulations and Well Done, Girls and Boys!
I would like to very much thank Mr Trevor Cunningham, Oísín and Eiméar for facilitating this extremely beneficial and very enjoyable computer workshop.
