On Wednesday 7th May 2025, local MLA, Mr Justin McNulty visited St. Teresa’s, he met with Mrs Mc Court, to discuss the issue of traffic speed, we currently have on the Tullyherron Road and the dangers it poses to our pupils, parents/carers and staff during the opening and closing times of our school.
Mr McNulty is very aware of the need for further signage or speed devices to reduce speed as vehicles are approaching the school, Mr McNulty has confirmed that he will submit a letter to the Northern Ireland Minster for Infrastructure, Liz Kimmins, to request that this traffic speed issue will be addressed by the NI DFI Roads Department as soon as possible. We very much look forward to a response from the Minister, Liz Kimmins and the NI DFI Roads Department.
