We are incredibly proud of our two teams who represented St. Teresa’s, Tullyherron with distinction in the 2026 Credit Union Schools’ Quiz Competition, held in Newtownhamilton Community Association Centre on Friday 6th February.
Our Team B — Aoife-Rose, Mollie S, Eva and Mollie O — all Primary 7 pupils, achieved an outstanding second place in their section.
Our Team A — Ursula, Annalise, Lily and Frank — also performed brilliantly, securing third place in their section.
All pupils received a generous monetary prize and a lovely gift bag in recognition of their efforts. We warmly congratulate our pupils for their hard work, commitment and dedication in preparing for this competition.
We also extend our congratulations to St. Malachy’s PS, Ballymoyer and St. Patrick’s, Cullyhanna on winning their sections and we wish them every success as they progress to the Chapter Round.
A sincere thank you to the Newtownhamilton Credit Union Committee for organising such a successful event and to Mrs Jacqueline Gahan, whose dedication and preparation ensured our pupils were so well prepared.
