The Sacrament of Confirmation took place on Wednesday 25th March in St. Malachy’s Church, Ballymoyer. It was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful celebration for our parish community, with Fr. Murphy officiating.
The choir for the Confirmation Ceremony was made up of pupils from St. Teresa’s and St. Malachy’s, led by Mrs Duffy and Mrs Loye. Their beautiful singing greatly enriched the liturgy and added so much to this very special celebration. We are deeply grateful to both teachers for their hard work, commitment and musical guidance in preparing the choir so wonderfully.
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Fr. Murphy for his ongoing support in helping us prepare our pupils as they receive the sacraments. Our thanks also go to Brendan for his dedication and assistance in preparing the Primary 7 pupils for this important occasion.
Congratulations to Olivia, Moya, Aoife Rose, Eva, Niamh, Mollie O., Annalise, Ursula, Mollie S., Oliver, Liam and Conor, who received the Sacrament of Confirmation. May God bless each of you with His love. We are very proud of you all.
