Celebrating World Book Day!

World Book Day was celebrated in school on Thursday 3rd March with each pupil dressing up as their favourite book character.

Amongst the characters were Eily, Michael and Peggy from Marita Conlon- McKenna's 'Under the Hawthorne Tree". Matilda and the Oompa Loompas from Roald Dahl's "Matilda" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," as well as Snow White, Cinderella, The Mad Hatter and Little Red Riding Hood from a "Selection of Fairy Tales."

We were delighted to have a visit from Mrs Mary Farrell, our Board of Governor who read a selection of stories to each class.
