Loughgilly Parish Confirmation Candidates 2020
As we look forward to the feast of Pentecost on Sunday we are conscious that, due to COVID-19, our Confirmation ceremony could not take place and unlikely to before the schools reopen at the end of August.
This is a huge disappointment for all the Primary 7 young people from our four primary schools within the parish, who were due to receive the sacrament, their parents and their teachers.
By way of acknowledging them and continuing to keep them in our prayers, I invite them to join in our Sunday Eucharist celebration via Loughgilly Parish Facebook Page, where I will light a candle and offer a prayer for them at the beginning of Mass at 11.00am this coming Pentecost Sunday, to acknowledge those who are due to receive Confirmation.
